How to calculate bmi

To calculate BMI (Body Mass Index), you need to divide a person's weight in kilograms by their height in meters squared. Here are the steps:

Convert your weight from pounds to kilograms. You can do this by dividing your weight in pounds by 2.20462. For example, if your weight is 150 pounds, the calculation would be: 150 / 2.20462 = 68.0389 kilograms (rounded to four decimal places).
Convert your height from inches to meters. You can do this by dividing your height in inches by 39.37. For example, if your height is 65 inches, the calculation would be: 65 / 39.37 = 1.651 meters (rounded to three decimal places).
Square your height in meters. You can do this by multiplying your height in meters by itself. For example, if your height is 1.651 meters, the calculation would be: 1.651 x 1.651 = 2.724201 (rounded to six decimal places).
Divide your weight in kilograms by the square of your height in meters. For example, if your weight is 68.0389 kilograms and your height squared is 2.724201, the calculation would be: 68.0389 / 2.724201 = 24.6786 (rounded to four decimal places).
Your BMI is 24.68, which falls in the normal weight range.
