How to update aadhar card online

 To update your Aadhaar card, you can follow the steps below:


Visit the official website of UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) at https://uidai.gov.in/.


Click on the "Update Aadhaar" option under the "My Aadhaar" tab.


You will be redirected to the Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal. Click on the "Proceed to Update Aadhaar" button.
Enter your Aadhaar number and verify the security code.
You will be prompted to select the details you want to update in your Aadhaar card such as your name, date of birth, gender, address, mobile number or email ID. Select the appropriate field(s) and click on the "Submit" button.


Enter the updated information in the respective fields and upload the supporting documents. The documents required for the update may vary depending on the field you are updating. Check the UIDAI website for the list of acceptable documents.
After submitting the form and supporting documents, you will be given an Update Request Number (URN). Note down this number as it will be required to check the status of your update.


Your updated Aadhaar card will be sent to your registered address within 90 days.
Note: You can also update your Aadhaar card by visiting an Aadhaar enrolment centre or by sending the update request by post.
